NormanPatocka

Norman Patocka is an internationally experienced production manager and producer with a focus on the cultural sector. Active in the film, music and event industries since the late 1980s, he began his career working, among other roles, as assistant director to Franz Antel. Since 1999 he has run his own production company.

For more than two decades he has been responsible for large-scale classical music formats: “Oper für alle” of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, held annually for over twenty years, the Vienna Philharmonic’s Summer Night Concert from 2008 to 2016, and productions with the Vienna State Opera. In the process he has worked with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, Kent Nagano, Franz Welser-Möst, Michael Tilson Thomas, Georges Prêtre, Ivor Bolton and Jun Märkl.

He is equally at home beyond the classical world, with productions for Pink, Udo Jürgens, Elton John, A3 (Ambros, Fendrich, Danzer), Tokiko Kato and Waldeck. In film, he contributed to international productions such as “The Three Musketeers”, “The Red Violin” and “Catherine the Great”, and produced a culture series with Ioan Holender for Servus TV.
