EnsemblePhilKlang

Ensemble PhilKlang brings together musicians of the Vienna Philharmonic in leading positions. The name says it all: out of a love of sound, its members devote themselves to chamber music with the same standards that define their playing in the orchestra.

The line-up of strings, winds and piano is deliberately flexible. This allows the ensemble to focus entirely on one programme or to cover a broad musical spectrum, from Viennese classicism to the present day. Every member brings many years of solo and chamber music experience.

Performances have taken the ensemble to the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Vienna State Opera and the Auditorio Nacional Madrid, among others, as well as on tour with the Vienna Philharmonic.
