The Künstlersekretariat Buchmann GmbH was founded in 1976 by Prof. Rudolf Buchmann as a family business.

The closest connection has always been with the Far East, particularly with Japan. Today, the company works with virtually all the major organizers and cultural partners around the world.

In Austria, the tasks of the agency have grown steadily, and so has the family company, whose responsibilities include the organization of the largest classical music events in Europe as well as organizing tours for the major Austrian Orchestras and groups. Additionally to these regular agency-matters, the Buchmann GmbH is runs the Summer-Festival Kittsee (Burgenland).

Nevertheless, the Buchmann-family has never ceased to look after the careers of young artists, support and promote special talents and help to build careers.
